Dear Heartache2Hope Community Members,
The health and safety of our clients, staff, and volunteers is our top priority at all times. As you may know, we quickly moved to virtual supportive services in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ontario is now in Phase 3 of reopening and Heartache2hope will start to gradually resume select in-person services as well. Here is how we now will be providing our supportive services:
- Members of our grief support team will be available for in-person individual support sessions, ensuring appropriate physical distancing and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (e.g., mask).
- We will continue to provide all our group programming virtually. We will continue to offer our 12- week Closed Groups and our semi-monthly Open Groups online in the Fall of 2020.
In order to ensure our clients’ and staff/volunteers’ safety, COVID-19 screening criteria will be used prior to in-person support sessions. Clients who meet these criteria and who comply with wearing a mask will be provided in-person sessions.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will provide updates to services as needed. We encourage you to stay up-to-date on health information through Halton Region’s website and on our services through our website and social media.
If you have any questions, please contact us at info@Heartache2Hope.com or 905-599-4673. The practices outlined above will be in place until further notice. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to provide safe grief support.
